The Mondraker Play 24 is a purpose-built kids’ electric hardtail mountain bike designed to open up the trails for younger riders. Combining a lightweight alloy frame with proven e-bike technology, it delivers the perfect balance of confidence, control and capability for aspiring mountain bikers who want to take their riding further.

Frame & Drive System

At the heart of the Play 24 is a 6061 Alloy Stealth Evo hardtail frame, crafted with hydroformed tubing and fully integrated internal cable routing for a clean, modern look. The non-removable 250Wh Mahle Ebikemotion battery is seamlessly housed within the downtube, paired with the Mahle X-35 motor system for smooth, natural pedal-assist power. The slimline Ebikemotion display keeps things simple, giving young riders just the information they need from their junior e-MTB.

Suspension & Wheels

Suspension duties are handled by the X-Fusion Velvet RL 26 fork, offering 100mm of air-sprung travel with adjustable rebound and lockout, tuned specifically for lighter riders. The compact 24” wheels are built around tubeless-ready MDK-HP1 rims and wrapped in grippy Kenda Booster 2.4” tyres, delivering a confident ride with the right mix of rolling efficiency and trail traction – ideal for a kids’ hardtail mountain bike.

Braking & Drivetrain

Braking is provided by powerful Sram DB4 four-piston callipers with 160mm rotors front and rear, ensuring reliable control with lever reach adjustability for smaller hands. The drivetrain is equally trail-focused, with an 11-speed SRAM NX groupset (11-42T cassette and 28T chainring) offering smooth shifting and a wide gear range for technical climbs and fast descents – making the Play 24 a versatile junior e-MTB hardtail.
